SLH would like to thank us for partnering them in their #GoSilverSG campaign last year to celebrate positive ageing amongst our seniors and raise funds for their patients to receive necessary care treatments to enable them to reintegrate back to their families.

They have expanded their services beyond the elderly to enrich more lives. An Institution of a Public Character, they care for 2,300 inpatients and 3,500 outpatients each year, regardless of race, language or religion. As illnesses may be long and chronic, they care holistically for patients’ physical, emotional and psychosocial well-being.

SLH uses art-based interventions to provide holistic care for patients. This year, their campaign features local artists and Christian gifts design company creating art inspired by ageing. Through weekly giveaways of the art pieces, they seek to spark conversations and challenge stereotypes.

They would like to invite our church to join them for #GoSilverSG by posting our own “silver hair selfie” any time within the campaign period from 1 – 30 June 2023 and donate to help their patients.

With our support last year, the campaign garnered more than 33,000 posts, likes and comments, and was supported by many partners and shoutouts by more than 60 influencers, including Minister Tan See Leng, Speaker of the Parliament Tan Chuan Jin, Member of Parliament (Bukit Batok SMC) Murali Pillai, and celebrities Cynthia Koh, Ya Hui, Joel Choo, and many more.
