COUNSELLING & PRAYER
Elders are assigned to pray with members needing prayer and counselling after our Sunday Morning Service.  Proceed to the front after the Service to meet them.  For this morning the Elders are: David Lee, Chia Eng Chuan and Francis Maniam.

BAPTISM INSTRUCTION CLASSES
Baptism Instruction Class taken by an Elder will be on this morning at the Annex at 10.15–11.15 am.  There will also be a final class next Sunday at the same time.

THE ALPHA COURSE
Date:  Tuesday 31 August                            
Time: 7.00 pm to 9.30pm
Topic:  Why and How should I read the Bible?
Place: Church Auditorium
A friendly and interactive Bible based course for non-believers to explore the Christian faith.  The video “Why and How should I read the Bible?” will be screened and discussions led by Elders on the Topic will follow.

BETHESDA KATONG SENIOR CITIZENS
Date:      Thursday 2 September                      
Time:     10 am
Dr Kamala Menon will encourage our Senior Citizens by teaching them from 1 Cor. 15.  You can join our Seniors for a good time of Bible teaching and fellowship.

FRIDAY PRAYER MEETING
Date: 3 September
Time: 7.45 pm

The Theme for September is: “Intercede for the Church of Christ”.  The Meeting Topic is: “Intercede for the Unity of Church Leadership” – John 17:6-26.

PASTORAL PRAYER
Next Sunday morning Elder Chia Eng Chuan will make the “Pastoral Prayer” for the Church.  Please send in your specific prayer requests to our Elder at 64462209 or to the Church Office at 63455752 during the week to be prayed for.

CHURCH FELLOWSHIP DAY
Date:   10 September  
Time:   8 am to 3.30 pm
Place:  Singapore Zoological Gardens
Come along for this Church Fellowship Day on this Public Holiday (Hari Raya Puasa).  Details will be given by Pulpit Announcements.  Please register with the Deacons at the Church annex after the Sunday morning service.  It will be a great time of Christian fellowship for all.
